Information Typology: European and general family-related entities Site: http://www.aifref.org Head: Jean Pierre Pourtois, President Members: Researchers and practitioners from around twenty countries interested in the field of research and intervention in family education Aims: To promote research and training in family education; to enable researchers and practitioners from all over the world to exchange their work, their research orientations and their respective practices; to promote the dissemination of research and intervention models in family education; to accentuate cooperation between Universities and Hautes Ecoles on the one hand and the fields of intervention, on the other hand, with the aim of developing teaching, research and action in family education; to organize an international congress on family education at least every two years; to seek sources of funding in order to achieve the above mentioned goals; to facilitate relations between political authorities, universities and social and educational actors working in the field of family education.
