8th Management Committee Meeting

Under the leadership of Professor Cristina Nunes, the Universidade do Algarve hosted the 8th Management Committee meeting of COST Action CA18123 EurofamNet from June 28th to June 30th. In total, 69 network members attended the meeting in Faro in person and another 27 attended the webinar on the 3rd day remotely. EurofamNet is a multidisciplinary network comprising 165 participants, from 35 countries, and involving the participation of 12 significant EU level organisations. The network is undertaking a major programme of work in the area of Family Support with the ultimate aim of improving the lives of children, young people and parents. The agenda for the meeting included exchanges between members of the network’s Working Groups and in plenary sessions across the full action, and a special Policy and Practice Stakeholder workshop focused on Skills for Family Support Practice. The meeting closed with an open, hybrid webinar entitled ‘Child and Family Support in Europe: An innovative framework’.
