PhD in Interprofessional Education and Collaboration providing her with the theoretical underpinnings of evidence based multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary models of practice and how these could be developed in practice within the specific contexts and cultures where they are being developed.

Experience in health policy and health care research working across various sectors and agencies to develop and implement inter-sectorial and inter-professional policies and programmes. This includes conducting operational research, being involved in committees and/or writing up of reports/policy documents/strategic plans concerning vulnerable populations such as young people in mental health institutions, amputees, persons with dementia and children with learning difficulties.

Programme Manager of an ESF project within the Ministry of Health in which she was tasked with developing an inter-sectorial programme for professionals involved with persons with dementia. First-hand experience of working with vulnerable families working as an Occupational Therapist in physical, mental and social care environments.
