3rd meeting Eurofamnet working group meeting, workshop and MC meeting

February 5, 2020 to February 7, 2020The third Action meeting was attended by 67 Action Participants representing 30 of the participant countries. A significant focus of the meeting was planning/review of implementation of data collection processes to take place in 2020: State of the Art report on Family Support in Europe, cataloguing of Evidence Based Family Support programmes and quality standards, and mapping of agencies and training standards. Advances were made towards operationalising the dissemination strategy, utilising our map of European stakeholders, and developing national working groups to support our data collection in the short term, and to serve as part of the Actions dual-layered structure for the medium to longer-term. At the meeting, we commenced what will be an ongoing process of information exchange between action members, with presentation by stakeholders Annmie Drieskens of COFACE and Andy Lloyd of Leed Council in the UK.

2nd meeting Kick-off meeting of the European Family Support Network
Malaga – University of Malaga
June 25, 2019 to June 27, 2019The second Action meeting was attended by 71 Action Participants representing 30 of the participating countries. The main focus of the meeting was to begin the detailed planning on the work of the Action, across the five Working Groups; significant progress was made in relation to each in terms of detailed planning for outputs and subgroup formation / task allocation. Formal decisions were taken on key aspects relating to membership of the Action, criteria for COST mechanisms of ITC country grants and Short-term Scientific Missions, and processes for selecting meeting venues.

1st Management Committee meeting
Brussels – Cost Headquarters
March 14, 2019This first Action meeting was attended by 39 Management Committee (MC) members representing 27 out of the 31 participating countries. As an introductory meeting, the main focus was on COST policies, governance, budgetary and planning issues. The MC elected Chair, Vice Chair, Working Group Leaders and Co-leaders and Horizontal Leaders, while action operating structures, draft work plan and draft budget were discussed. The University of Seville was approved as the Action Budget Holder and Dr. Lucia Jimenez was elected as the Scientific Representative of the Budget Holder. The participation of Kosovo as a Near Neighbour Country (NNC) was approved.
