Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU Conference: "Towards comprehensive social protection for families in Europe"
On September 27th 2023, EurofamNet participated in the meeting entitled "Towards comprehensive social protection for families in Europe", organised by the Spanish Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 and the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations. The meeting took place under the auspices of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Our Chair participated at the round table "Implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights and its Action Plan, with a focus on specific issues in family policies. Addressing child poverty and gender gap reduction in pensions”, to talk about the development of parental and family support services in Europe on behalf of EurofamNet.

EurofamNet Webinar: Family support skills across professions and settings
EurofamNet WG3 stakeholders workshop "Bridging quality standards for evaluation with professional practice"
The stakeholders workshop “Bridging quality standards for evaluation with professional practice”, that was held on September 24th 2021, organised by Working Group 3, brought together policy-makers and service providers responsible for Child and Family Support agencies from COST Action countries and focused on scoping the efforts to introduce evidence-based practices in child and family policies and professional work with families across the COST Action countries.

On 1st June 2021 EurofamNet has commemorated the United Nations led Global Day of Parents by collaborating in the organization of the webinar "Families in positive + European Family Support Network: Projects to promote the positive parenting approach in child and family services".
The introduction is in Spanish but both main conferences are in English.

The EurofamNet webinar "Supporting children and families during and post Covid-19: Combatting poverty, coping with work & family & enhancig wellbeing", organised by Working Group 2, was held on 24th September 2021. It brought together researchers and policy and practice representatives from the field of family support to reflect on the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of family support measures and developments in addressing the challenges and pressures that children, young people, parents and families have faced.

Quality of Childhood (QoC) talk: Supporting families to meet children’s needs by making quality family support a right for all children
On 9th March 2023 EurofamNet, together with Alliance for Childhood, has co-hosted an event at the European Parliament with the objective to advocate for family support at a high policy level, by introducing key messages from the Network, as well as its future projection.
Following the QoC talk, an informal meeting took place at the offices of Make Mothers Matter, jointly organised with the Learning for Well-being Foundation, where participants got the chance to continue conversation with speakers and discuss implications of the presentation.
