Summary:
Family holidays. In Spanish. Designed for volunteer families who want to take in children during the summer holidays and for minors who are in residential care in the Community of Madrid. When a family or adult applies, they are informed and then interviewed to see if they are suitable for this type of temporary accommodation. If she is suitable, she will go on to receive training. The contract is then signed to regulate the child's stay with the family for a certain period of time. When the placement ends, an evaluation of the experience is made.
It is hoped that the experience will be satisfactory for both the child and the family. As far as the child is concerned, the starting point is the idea that inclusion in a family context, even if it is temporary, will bring benefits in terms of physical, emotional and social development.
