The European Family Support Network (EurofamNet) is an evidence-based, multidisciplinary network of researchers, practitioners and policymakers funded as an Action (CA18123) under the COST programme. EurofamNet aims to create a pan-European family support network focused on family support policies and practices, reflecting on common goals among participating countries, recognizing the specific nature of families' cultural and socio-economic contexts. The Action aims to inform European and national policy-makers on family support practices with the ultimate aim of ensuring the rights and well-being of families and children. To achieve our goals, EurofamNet is building collaborations between researchers, professionals, policymakers, public and private agencies, families and society at large. To be more effective, we aim to establish a supranational network that can provide policy advice at the European level, but rooted in experiences at the national level, with mutual influence between the European and national levels. In this communication we will describe the way in which we are organized, the working groups created, their main objectives and the results achieved so far.
