About
I am a professor in social work at the Department of Social Work, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). My work as a researcher centred around inequality, decision making and child welfare services but I am also interested in wider subjects including social justice and social work ethics.
Prior to academia, I practiced as a social worker in various public services such as habilitation services for children and youth, child welfare services, social security services and in the non-profit organization the Norwegian Cancer Society.
I have continued to work close with service user organisations, professionals from the field and decision-makers in most of the research projects that I am involved in.
