I am an expert in the area of analysis of public policies and institutions. My research interests are policymaking and practices of childcare and elderly care. I published several books on care, parenthood and reproductive policies.
My specific interest lies in studying parenthood after couple separation. I have conducted research on fatherhood after separation and on solo motherhood. I collaborate with NGOs and stakeholders interested in this issue.
In 2015-2018 I served as a member of the Committee for Family Policy at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic that participated in developing the latest Family Policy Strategy of the Czech Republic.
