Sylvie Ray-Kaeser

I have a long experience as an occupational therapist working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families and have contributed to many publications and conferences from the early identification of children to methods and techniques in varied contexts, such as home and schools and ways to work and collaborate with families and teachers in order to support children’s participation and inclusion.

I have been involved as active member in the COST Project TD1309 and training school, and co-authored LUDI book chapters and guidelines that investigated play participation issues of children with disabilities and the accessibility of play and play materials. I often spoke publicly and testified at congressional hearings about the urgent challenges of supporting children’s rights to play.
