Information Country: Northern Ireland Area of expertise: Family Support Policy and Implementation Independent Consultant in Family Support who recently facilitated the consultation with parents and carers on the Review of Children`s Social Care in N.Ireland. She is also a volunteer for organisations supporting refugees and people seeking asylum and other organisations supporting prisoners’ families.She has been a qualified social worker for over 40 years. During this time, she has worked in the statutory, voluntary and community sectors across a range of services in the Family and Child Care sector.Much of this work has focused on setting up and developing services in the area of early intervention and family support including leading on the development of Family Support Hubs across Northern Ireland as part of the Children and Young People Strategic Partnership.
