The 2020 review includes 45 countries, with detailed country notes on each country covering: details of maternity, paternity, parental and other forms of leave; the relationship between early childhood education and care services and leave provision; recent policy developments; and take-up of different types of leave. There are also a number of comparative tables.
This year there is also a special supplement on policy responses to the Covid-19 pandemic for parents and other carers.
The international network hopes the review will provide a useful resource for those engaged in research, policy development, advocacy and teaching.
