Outcomes and achieved outputs :
The VMG has supported the work of Working Package 1 of the CIG on the development of a family support Quality Assurance Protocol (QAP) and the automatic report resulting of filling in the QAP. The QAP is one of the main outputs of the CIG and will allow for the assessment of quality family support in 22 participating countries.
Benefits for the COST Action Strategy:
With regard to the activities carried out in the framework of the VMG that have led to the aformentioned outcomes, the grantee has produced a list of principles, extracted from European frameworks and recommendations, that have guided the selection of Quality Standards. She has also helped coordinating the work of the subgroups of Working Package 1 responsible for developing the Quality Standards, measurable indicators and response options across the three systems that compose the QAP. In addition, the VMG allowed the grantee to disseminate and promote the participation of the CIG members in the Delphi study aimed at fine-tuning the QAP. Furthermore, the grantee has collaborated with the website manager to implement the QAP as an online survey on the intranet of the EurofamNet website. Finally, she has contributed in designing the structure and content of the automatic report that is produced when submitting the QAP.
Virtual collaboration:
The virtual collaboration between the grantee and the host researchers was very satisfactory and consisted of regular online meetings, suppported by email correspondence, to discuss and plan the tasks ahead and review the work conducted. The ongoing feedback of the host researchers on the progress of the tasks was very useful for the grantee.
