About
In my work as an Assistant Professor in Child Development at the University of Amsterdam, I study the nature of parent-child interactions, and how we can strengthen the effects of programs to support parents and enhance children's well-being.
For example, I study the key parenting techniques programs should teach parents to reduce children’s conduct problems, child and family factors that help us predict how much families benefit from parenting programs, and how we can optimize the effects of parenting programs.
My research includes parenting program evaluation trials, traditional and individual participant data (IPD) meta-analysis, and microtrials of the effects of discrete parenting program components.
