Policy and Practice Group

Policy and Practice Group

We are delighted that a new working group had been formed – the Policy and Practice Group. In the foundation document for EurofamNet, it is clear that there needs to be a good relationship between research, policy and practice. This group brings together colleagues from around Europe who work in either family support policy or practice. The group is chaired by Andy Lloyd from Leeds, UK. Andy has been involved with the network since its start and is very keen to do all we can to improve the wellbeing of families; this is particularly important in the middle of a global pandemic.

It is proposed that we should meet every 6 months; during the period of Covid-19 restrictions, these meetings will be on line but it is hoped that from mid-2021 we will be able to meet face to face as part of the wider meetings.

If you are involved in Family Support policy or practice, we would be delighted if you would like to join our conversations. Contact us: support@eurofamnet.eu
